Comprehensive Special Education Advocacy & Consultation for Parents

                     Comprehensive Special Education Consultation

& Advocacy for Parents and their Children

Do you have a child who is struggling in school?

Parents of children with Special Education needs, Section 504 plans or experiencing general education issues are often faced with obstacles when navigating through the educational or special education process. Sometimes parents leave meetings feeling dissatisfied and confused. Sometimes they feel as if they were not heard.  Sometimes they feel that the meeting was unproductive. Sometimes parents are not even sure if a meeting and/or an evaluation is needed. And sometimes, a parent simply feels the need for support and understanding at the meeting and after the meeting.  I provide comprehensive support services to parents at every stage of the process.

I consider myself a private consultant for parents and staff as well as a strong advocate for each child I serve.

Something to ponder:
"If we elect not to evaluate a child
and later that child proves to have dyslexia,
we cannot give those lost years
back to that child."
- Dr. Sally Shaywitz,  Co-Director of the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity

Isn't this true of children with any disability or challenge?
